I remember when I realized I was on a crash course to full blown burnout. It seemed so much bigger than just being "stressed out," but I was so exhausted that I didn't know how to even pull the e-brake.

I didn't know where to begin.

Most of what I could find were books, courses, or articles telling me I just needed to reframe my thoughts.

The process felt insurmountable. I had no energy left to put into myself or to change, even though I knew that the way I was living my life was unsustainable.

Giving me MORE work to do, another book to read, an online course to complete felt like it could break me instead of help.

It has taken me years to heal from the damage that burnout caused to my mental and physical health, and I know now that what I needed was a hand to grab onto to pull me up.

Don't get me wrong. Burnout is a symptom of a toxic workplace culture. That is a bigger problem.

But there are things that are within our control.

We can make the choice to heal. We can see ourselves for the part we play in our own lives.

I reached out over and over again until I eventually found people who knew how to help.

I found solutions that experts agree make a difference and create lasting change.

Today, I am reaching out to you. Let me be that person for you.

HOW IT WORKS


90 Days To Alignment Coaching Program  

With Kara Cordray (me!) as your coach, this one-on-one approach will help you begin to heal by implementing small adjustments in your life to create lasting, sustainable change.

Phase 1: The Reality of Your Situation

In the first week together, we will deep dive into what is happening in your life right now, gain clarity about your current situation, and begin defining what healthy habits we need to build in your life. We will work so you understand how valuable and incredible you are as a person, and begin to feel that you are enough. We will make a plan to invite things that you want into your life and begin living for YOU instead of living for work or others. You will begin taking control of your life and happiness!

Phase 2: Build Your Community

This week we will define your support system by recognizing who is already there for you, cheering you on. We will work to create areas for personal connection in your day to day life, meet with others who are on the same journey, and prioritize those relationships that are already there for you. You will also learn what signs will tell you that it is time to utilize that community for some extra love and support. You are not alone and connection is an important way to add meaning to your life immediately!

Phase 3: Managing Your Stress

In this week together, we will learn how to define rest, how to get enough of it, and how it applies to balance, health, and your stress threshold. We will continue finding easy ways to add healthy habits to your daily life so that rest is built in. You will practice several ways to create enjoyment with simple and effective habits. This stage of adding fulfillment and healthy habits will be a game changer!

Phase 4: Work Culture

This is the week we challenge chronic workplace stress by finding what you have control over. You will gain insight for handling stressors so that your relationship with work will improve because it will be framed by you. You get to define your own expectation of yourself and your work in this freeing process.

Phase 5: Boundaries, Beliefs, and Behaviors

We will take time this week to look at setting boundaries, learning about any limiting beliefs, and identifying behaviors that have shown up in your relationship with your job. You will learn how these beliefs often show up in other areas of your life, then learn how applying adjustments can enhance your overall well-being. This can be incredibly rewarding as you get to know yourself even better.

Phase 6: Dream Big - Choose Yourself

This week we will practice allowing yourself to dream, to be happy, and to find meaning and fulfillment. You will experience the freedom of giving yourself permission to live fully and take the time to remember or discover what brings you joy, then make a plan to follow through on a big want. There is no limit to the kinds of amazing things you can invite into your life!

Phase 7: All The Possibilities

In our final phase together, we will reflect on the progress you have made toward balance. You will define who you want to be next and how you can move toward being that person. We will do a final deep dive on any life choices you may be moved to make as you emerge with renewed sense of meaning, joy, and clarity in your life, allowing you to dream big and continue to prioritize you.

Kara Cordray

My name is Kara, founder of KC Coaching. After over 20 years of working in luxury hotels and restaurants with long hours and high standards, my stress threshold was nonexistent. I reached full burnout and it was showing up as the beginning stages of chronic disease. I was fortunate enough to be able to take time to learn how to heal; I worked on my habits, intentions, limiting beliefs, and connection. I am passionate about helping women find balance by implementing the strategies experts have been utilizing for years. After countless hours of application, I have created a dependable roadmap for women and nonbinary people to take steps toward reacquainting themselves with joy, clarity, and purpose.
